The Zanz Trident

Today my internet suddenly went down for about 10 hours. I was bored, so I tried to make a bigger version of Zanzarino's icon, the Zanz Trident.

Newer version is up. I think this one is slightly more accurate.



Here is a smaller version of the above picture (left), compared to the real Zanz Trident (right):

I didn't bother to make the background identical to the real one, but other than that I think the two are pretty much the same

I also made a new Mark based on the Zanz Trident: Mark of Divinity. Zanz is God after all

You can't see anything if you open this in a new window with a white background, since the image is completely white with a transparent background.

Well, it's not like I'm going to use this for anything other than Elements. He's letting us use his Elemental Marks, so I don't see why we can't use the Zanz Trident.

The Trident is the Trademark for his Business.
If I was his Laywer / Solicitor, I'd push strongly for him to take action against this use due to his obligations within contracts to his other clients and the defensibility of his own web design business.

- I'm not using this for commercial use.
- I'm only using it inside Elements, which is Zanz's property as well.
- Zanz probably has better things to do than to sue me for duplicating his logo.

Thus, I'm not worrying too much about this. Zanz's logo is fairly simplistic, so I think any semi-competent artist can duplicate it (I'm just a high school student and I can do it). Really, he has other things in life to worry about.

It's nice, but it isn't too close to Zanz's. What program are you using? I don't fully know but if you can remove the thick white border and instead replace it with a thin one and then give it an inside glow. It would look more similar. Also, the outer glow is too strong. it should be nearly invisible.

I was using Adobe Fireworks.

Inside glow? My first version had the inside glow, but today it occurred to me that the Zanz Trident might actually be just solid white lines with a slight inside glow. It looks smudged when you shrink it down to 80x80, but I think this version is actually more accurate.

As for the glow... Well, I think it's close enough. I'm not trying to perfectly duplicate it, just want to make something similar. Just look at the two small versions; the left one is mine and right one is real.
