I do agree that Crimson Dragon needed to show a bit more of the body (If only to fit the look of the other creature cards, as it's own piece I think it looks great)

And that reasoning is completely circular as for openETG, I get to redo all the creatures, and full-body is not a requirement I'm setting.


If you have issues with Elements' art being more dynamic and looking less like a videogame marketed at children, too freaking bad.

The old art doesn't really even look like a dragon (and you can't tell where its arms and stuff are either). Vrt's work is AMAZING. This sort of thing happened with the new pillar designs, but people grew up in the end. (I wasn't on the forum at the time, but I've crawled through the updates for one reason or another.)
Also, the new art for Obsidian dragon is one of my favourite artworks ever. I could stare at it all day.

I believe we never talked before, vrt, but let me say that I LOVE your works and the love you put into it when volunteering for elements and am happy that, with a couple exceptions, your arts are all full-body. That's, IMHO, the best way to work with fantasy artworks.
