wow, excellent detail, and very smart how u hide the 'butterfly effect' or the 'replica' effect, if u know what i mean. I reckon this should
be a  element spell. Awesome, epic and clever piece

My only critique is that the central orb seems to be missing something.  The texture just seems slightly out of place, somehow.  I probably would have made the circle look a bit glassy and reflective, as if it's a gas-filled glass orb.

Anyway, good job!

Hate to say it, but.. you have a flat ball.


Really could use a little more custom polish, though, to add some depth.. I'm pretty sure you can pull it off.

Exceptional.

But vrt does have a point. It does look like a flat ball, but from the top. If you look from the bottom, it looks more like sphere.

Exceptional. That's the word. I also think the orb could possibly use a glassy surface but that depends on what the art is for. To me personally it looks very gravityesque and with a glassy surface i would say it would look darkness/lightesque. No matter what, its an ominous piece. I love it.

Thanks for the input everyone, but I think Pepo summed up what I tried to do best and failed at XD I still haven't gotten used to Photoshop's 3d rendering tools. I plan to play around with them some more, try to achieve that glossy glass sphere look.
