Serious-wise, though, I like our current design, which feels like mystical energy of some sort. Your redesign feels kinda... too stone-ish.

I think the first competition he's referring to was the card border redesign inspired by you

This looks really cool. Personally I like the new highlights and etching better than the color change, but that's just me.

thanks for the comment... but uhm to be fair the premise of this idea is that it is a new style.  If it had that "Elementish" style, it would look just like the current, I imagine.

This is very interesting.  I will admit that I like the over-the-top, energetic, bright visuals of the current quanta symbols, but I still find myself attracted to your artistic vision as well.  Interesting.  Hope you have the time and are willing to share these with us.

I like the more artsy take, it seems to fit into the theme of the game more.

While you're at it, can you try to do ? I'm interested in how the "artsy" version of that would look.
