Yeah, this is not at all what we were talking about in the thread. This thread was about art improvements, with no game effect, which could be obtained via donation. I'm really not a fan of the "The Trial" reward.

Going on with the mark cards idea it would also be cool if there were foil marks that you could choose to show as your standard mark. Like instead of the regular mark design a foil mark design could be chosen.

No I'm pretty sure you talked about Mark Cards while I'm talking about in addition to that also allow them to be used instead of your standard mark. Like when you choose 1 of 12 elements u can make it the foil version instead.

Wont the new update have upgradable marks that look fancier than the other marks? Or are you talking about something new altogether?

I guess if it's in the trainer it's probably going to happen. I finally got used to the whole map change of 1.4, but this change I don't feel so great about. I'll have to go spend more time in the trainer and try this out.

Imagine: a foil card for every single card! shouldn't it be fantastic? also, here's an image of Foil Chimera: and the upgraded version: . The card may be very rare, anyways it looks cool. Who wouldn't want a foil for every single upgraded and non-upgraded card? Imagine the cards and tell me what you think of my idea!

a problem is that the foil card is actually a different card;
one can actually include up to 12 chimera's in 1 deck.
While I haven't seen many decks using over 6 chimera's,
I doubt that would hold for, say, a lava golem.
Making a foil card for the cards that you currently can have more than 6 of in 1 deck - pillars and pendulums,
also effects the game: it makes earthquake weaker.

The only card suitable for this, would be one that you don't want more than 6 of anyway.
Very few cards come to mind.
SoPa <- SoI -based deck may use that.
most of the shields could actually work, unless a card that allows you to do things with multiple shields makes it into the game.

Yeah, given the current pool, foil Flooding would probably one of the least abusable if this copy problem is not resolved.  Same could go for a variety of shields [e.g. Foil Fire Buckler, Foil Gravity Shield, Foil Duck Mantle].

Some other candidates for foils that come to mind:
-Nightfall / eclipse would also make nice candidates
-Weapons. They are a little more abuseable than shields, but this is still pretty limited since you can only have 6 animates and / or 6 crusaders in a deck.
-Catapult
-Rustler (will anyone really abuse it? ... its a 1|1 and its ability is already spammable)

Rustler could be abused in 40+card decks imo. Life Mark Light Towers.

I suppose so, although probably the upped version though. Rustlers being 1|1 creatures are so easily dealt with via mass CC.. or any other CC for that matter. But I guess the upped Leaf Dragon is just hearty enough to be a nuisance...
I would be willing to guess that a simple code tweak would allow checking to avoid this matter altogether... but then again I've heard some parts of the code are a tangled mess to rewire... so maybe not
