It's much more complicated than just the white gradient highlight. I had to crop off the card border, the picture frame, and the description box. Some things on the card are not affected by the white highlight.
But I guess I could crop the highlight layer a bit, so I won't have to do the cropping for every single card.
Yes, Fireworks can work in layers. However, I don't know that if a PNG is opened with Photoshop, can the layers still be seen? I think I've tried it once with an older version of PS/FW, but PS said something like "this file contains additional information for Fireworks that will be lost upon save".
So, for those with Photoshop, save the image I posted first and see if you can open it and see the layers. If not, then I'll just make twelve blank card templates with nothing on them.
