I was thinking of lightning, but then that is aether province so i didn't put any.

Also i didnt know should i put any elements symbol. In the end i did put one on the knee, but color composition does not lend itself to the bright blue. Didnt put place for one in the sketch a now it feels grafted.

Lesson: should finish picture quickly and in shorter time period with more preparations and research.
 
As for time knight: ok i will draw time knight next. I could make him rather burly armored sage with epic staff in the warhammer 40k psyche marine fashion. keep suggestions coming i will start drawing first sketches soon.

For Griffin Knight, his armor is shiny to the point that there is a bright source of light illuminating him from the left.  His shadow needs to be very dark behind him to balance the composition.

Awesome first draft for Time Knight, he's gonna look great when you finish him.

I know it is just the first sketch and all but the bottom of Time Knights tabard... well the Cockatrice is in the Life element if you know what I mean. : P
