Instead of lowering the opacity of the Marks, you instead leave them both at 100% and change the "Blending Mode" of the top mark (I usually put the darkest mark on top for best results).

I can't seem to find that blending options setting. What application are you using, Word? Powerpoint? Other?

Adobe Photoshop (full name of the application) is probably the photo/picture editing application.

I haven't figured out how to do more than one picture on the link you gave me. How about a link to a place to download photoshop? Also can I get that dang entropy in the middle, with all the other elements around it, with a big pink symbol in the backround already? I think my question about how to do it made everyone forget about it.

File --> Open

Then to stack them you drag the layer on the right and drop it onto the image you want to change.
