Fire Shield - Do you like it?

I love it.

I think the Fire Shield would look ever so slightly better if it took up a tiny bit more of the box though.
I feel like there's just a little bit too much empty space around it.

Personally, I rather liked the curly corners. Admittedly they're a little less serious and more whimsical, but I thought it was a fun stylized look.
The triangles are good too though. Just wanted to chime in.

I still feel like the bottom right/bottom left corners are missing something...
Maybe some flames?

(Could be just me, it still looks VERY nice).

A shield of fire is serious business, no curly elvish stuff

I like the lack of solidity in the shield as it goes with the lack of any actual defense, while the fire shows the burning far more effectively than on the old version.
The thunderstorm needs better clouds.

Awesome art, Thalas! I like the version without triangles better, though the version with them is pretty cool too. The Thunderstorm is also nice.

Hope Zanz puts these other new arts in the game (and who knows, maybe the old art will end up on new cards )

I like the new one as well.  I'd like to see more cards that had separate art for upgraded/unupgraded; maybe we could use yours for one version and the old one for the other.  The only card I know of right now with different art for each version is Bone Dragon // Ivory Dragon.

Your art is way better than the current one, Thalas. Both Fire Shield and Thunderstorm.

I think the shield should be wider. It would fix the "problem" of filling the card box, while looking better. Except this, it looks good.

Yes. The shield must be a bit bigger and with a more curve shape.
(I preferred the 1st shield version)
