I think the Fire one without the glow is the best looking by far.  Glow makes them look.. wimpier. 

I'd like to see the rest done no-glow style.

Umm...no offense intended with my unintelligent question, but what have you actually done to them?
They clearly look better (especially the death one), but I just can't seem to understand what the difference really is...

Edit: The fire one seems to be missing the 'glow' around the edges that all the other elements have.

It's not the finished project that I am showing off for the most part, it's the actual photoshop file. I've broken down each icon into basic parts(the gradient background, the symbol, and the highlight) making them easier to edit and create your own icons. But, with the pen path in each file, it's possible to scale up or down the icon to any size while still having the same good quality.

Really? I liked them witht he glow haha. But sure, I can post them in no-glow style. I'll also post them sans-symbol, for people who want just the basic icon. All of them will be up sometime today.

I don't see what you are seeing. All of them look in the right place, and only one of each element is in each column.
