Elements art class; any interest?

Well i gotsome major interest my one and only problem is ...... I have ZERO artistic talent. I just get lucky with the few modsi done to some pics that come off with interesting effects.

During the time I won't be doing any artwork (if I can even succeed at doing it), I can help turn people's images into card ideas. I'm pretty good at that, though I've slacked a little lately and stopped making card ideas. (mostly due to the fact I that I don't want to find a good piece of art for my idea)

Well, you can feel free to use anything from my sketches thread you like. If you want I can even try to improve an image that catches your eye

Im interested. I have already learned a lot, and constructive environment could lead to amazing stuff and a lot of easy learning.  I can devote some time as i enjoy painting. Also im considering acquiring graphic tablet, but it's expensive....

Also there are great suggestions on this topic already i am for subforum and specific topics. ART factory FTW!

Also, i started with ZERO talent. Honestly, i had none as kid but i trained and trained! I have some friends that had talent but never developed it and i envied them. But i have kept drawing (boring college lectures helped) and i improved to the standard you can see today in my topic. So i have no talent is just excuse, it can be learned and it can be learned well. Even your imagination is trainable! So stop whining and start drawing! Here is very supportive community and you can really improve.


Also, also, i must say that sometimes OMG thats teh AWSUM!!!! comments got me some positive stuff that's kept me going to do some art (what can i say im attention whore ),
but would probably just clog discussion. Maybe any criticism should in form of (at least) one positive statement followed by constructive criticism.

For the record: 'Talent' in art is a load of bullshit. With patience and dedication, you can learn the skills to do anything - it's like playing the guitar; anyone can learn to do it. 'Talent' is how easily you'll understand and apply it, not whether or not you'll be able to grasp it in the first place.

piepieple: It should be obvious that I much prefer digital media. However, if you can come up with a usable quality of images with pencils, then you won't hear a single complaint from me.

BloodShadow: If you think you can do an assignment in a weekend, sure. But if it's an assignment, like, say, "draw 4 new poses for this creature sketch", then it's probably going to be a tad hard for you.


On another note, I think I might have tricked pepokish into helping me out with this idea. >.>

any sort of improvement on my pixlr/mspaint skills would be helpful. then i can at least put a better "crappy" image in my card ideas.
