I found out a free to use creature generator for Spore. You can make different creatures of your imagination with this. They resemble some creatures from elements so maybe they can help in making creatures for the card arts the way you like.

I mean, the quality sucks.  But then again lots of art I've seen has been worse.  Great find for noobs that can only use paint!

Epic little tool you have there, it will be awesomely useful for card art (if what you say about the copyright is true), since most of the cards are made in Spore, and this is basically Spore 2D.
