Art request--Mist/fog https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=7751.msg86763#msg86763

I'd like better art for my :darkness Ominous Mist (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,7717.0.html) :darkness card idea.  I was envisioning mist/fog rolling past barren trees or something like that but would be open to whatever you can come up with.

Thanks!

Hows that??

Thanks for submitting an image.  It's not quite what I'm looking for.  I sure wish I was better at creating images.

Are you still looking for an image?
Yes.  Please.

This is good.  The barren trees are great.  If possible, if you could somehow get the mist/cloud/fog obscuring some of the trees as it rolls through them--that's what I'd really like.

What program did you use for that lens lighting effect? GIMP photoshop or Pixlr?

Heres the closest I could come to Xoned, and looking at what he had done reminded me of a tool in GIMP called "Cartoon" Where it takes a real forest tree scene, or whatever you want, and turns it to have that black cartoony outline. But I made the fog/mist myself, without the lens lighting effect. Although I did use a lighting effect to make the forest dark, then drew a large opaque line in light white at the bottom and smudged the hell out of it. This is what I got.

That's way better than mine.
I used http://www.befunky.com/create (http://www.befunky.com/create) to make it cartoonish and http://www.resizeyourimage.com/ (http://www.resizeyourimage.com/) to get it to 256x256.

Wanna try "misting" my image?

Xoned & zac333:

Those images are pretty cool.  Can you make the mist "thicker" so as to obscure the trees more?  I want people to get the impression of fearing what they cannot see.
