just an idea i had, when I was reading the copyright discussion. I'm not sure, but could it be that the LAW that regulates copyright is different from country to country?
I really don't know, but in the case of Germany I'm pretty sure VRT is right.

But nevertheless in Germany we use the phrase:
"When there is nobody that complains, then there is nobody that judges you."
