Weapon hits through Diss Field when Sanc is played first. [confirmed]

Vineroz mentioned in chat his Fahren hitting through Diss Field. I've never seen this happen before, so I took it to the trainer.



Only the weapon slot Fahren does. Interestingly, the only time it does is when I have one Animated and a Sanc in play. It doesn't work when I don't have a Sanc in play, or with only Animated Fahrens, or with one Animated and one in weapon slot without Sanc.

Just a note: in my situation I had no flying farenheits, just one in slot. I had two sancs in play, and the opponent has a Diss Shield.

Okay.. I'm now getting inconsistent results.



This time one slot Fahren and one Sanc was enough to hit through it, meaning it has something to do with the order the different cards are played in.
Yep. This bug occurs when you play Sanc first. Also, playing a new Fahren counts as playing one after having played Sanc, giving the same effect as with Animate.

Tested with Eternity.I played Eternity first, then AI played shield. I played sanc and then Eternity, the Eternity hit through. So this is a Sanc/Weapon bug.

Isn't this done on purpose to prevent the most overpowered combo in the entire game? Sanc/diss field would be theoretically impenetratable.
It's a good thing that the shield is not destroyed due to 'lack of quanta to absorb the damage'.

Nah.. you're misread the point GG. The sanc is on the other side of the diss shield; i.e. AI has diss shield with no sanc but I have a non-titan weapon that can penetrate through the diss shield because I have sanc on my side.

Was playing AI4 and I had Lobotomizer out, then the AI plays Sanctuary. AI plays Dissipation Shield and then replaces with FIELD later. Creatures still damaged as intended but the weapon damage was Absorbed.

Yeah, a fairly dumb thing the AI does, stealing sancs when they have a diss shield/field on the play.

Interesting, i thought it was intended to be able to hit through diss shield with weapons. It happens to me all the time (i use sanc too).
