Voodoo Doll froze my weapon !?!

I was playing against "Shadonos" (Level 5) and used freeze against one of the Voodoo Dolls. I heard another "freeze noise" and noticed that my Eternity that was enchanted with Protect Artifact was frozen! I hovered the cursor over it to see if a status box would appear, but nothing happened. I ended my turn, and the weapon did no damage. During my next turn, I cast Vampire Stiletto to see what would happen. The Vampire Stiletto came into play frozen as well, and also did no damage at end of turn. [unconfirmed]

It's not a bug that's how it's meant to work, whatever happens to voodoo doll happens to you so voodoo doll gets frozen your weapon gets frozen.
