Title: Too much purple Nymph

I think that I've found a bug. But I'm not sure of this. It's probably a "probabilistic bug" :P

I talk about the distribution of my spinned nymphs:

:entropy 9 (10 if I consider the one that I've lost by a sincronization bug)
:death 1
:gravity 1
:earth 1
:life 0
:fire 0
:water 1
:light 2
:air 3
:time 2
:darkness 2
:aether 2

and in the last 6 month I've found only :entropy ones...
The probability of this event (to find 9 Nymphs of a single color is less then 0.007% !) (and if i consider the first one that I've lost the probability is also lesser: 0.0014% -.- )
can anybody check if there is some problem or if I'm "a little" unlucky?

This means that the probability of my case is the 0.5%... quite less unlucky indeed...

Then again, you can never have enough purple nymphs. RIGHT? RIGHT?!

Post by: DoubleCapitals on July 05, 2014, 04:12:24 pm: IIRC There was once a bug that made Purple Nymphs twice as likely to be gotten (to be specific the Oracle has a 1/2 chance to rechoose a card if a Nymph is spun, but they forgot to do so for :entropy).

It should have been fixed, I think.

The amount of silly bugs that are easy to fix and that are still around is astounding.

Post by: dragonsdemesne on July 05, 2014, 10:09:41 pm: There definitely was a bug in the past that made purple nymphs twice as likely as any other nymph, but even when that is factored in, I also have more purples than any other element. (12 purple, 1 death, 4 gravity, 3 earth, 3 life, 5 fire, 2 water, 3 light, 2 air, 2 time, 2 darkness, 2 aether) It's probably just pure chance in both our cases.
