Titanium Shield vs Deflagration

When I try and use Deflagration on a Titanium Shield, the game won't let me (the shield is untargetable).

There's nothing on the Titanium Shield card text to indicate its immune to cards like Deflagration - is this a bug or just something I don't understand?

Since Titanium Shield is an shield, more than likely it was protected by Protect Artifact or Enchant Artifact.

Ahh - that must be what it was; I must have missed the card play - for a moment I thought Titanium Shield was even better then I thought!

I should have known, I've seen the symbol on a couple - just a random question - is there a reason why is used for untargetable, seems a bit confusing having one of the element symbols to designate it.

Well is just cool like that.  In fact, is so respected that we use its symbol to represent an or characteristic.   8)

Heh, to be a little more specific...

Not sure how good your monitor/eyesight is but that is an infinity symbol inside there and so it means it lasts an infinite amount of time.  Not quite as true when a creature has the symbol on it, because of them being affected by shields.
