All shields effect weapons also from what I have been able to see. So I think Dusk Mantle is just misworded

Dust Mantle makes Fahrenheit (in the weapon slot) miss.

Just to bump this, the cards do say creatures specifically.

Something should be corrected.

Carapace, Dimensional, Dissipation, Skull, Bonewall, Titaniun, and Emerald shield all refer to damage sources, not creatures.

Dusk Mantle appears to say creatures and impact weapons.
I saw the same for Fog last night.
