A weapon that is protected with Enchant Artifact, then animated with Flying Weapon loses it's 'immaterial' status. 

That shouldn't be the case.

There was a question about that on the flashkit board. It's supposed to work that way.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but when you fly a weapon, it's targeted just like a Poison or a Miracle, as in that it's automatic, so it goes through the immaterial status. It then actively destorys the weapon in your weapon slot, immaterial or not, and then puts a predetermined creature with the same attack, ability, and name/picture onto your side of the field. Since the creature isn't a copy of the weapon (since it's a creature, not a permanent, and sorta counts as though it was played from the hand), it doesn't have any status effects that the original weapon had. o-o
