EVERY TEST WAS RUN IN TRAINER, EXPLOITING THIS BUG MIGHT RESULT IN SEVERE CONSEQUENCES. THIS BUG HASN'T BEEN TESTED IN EVERY SITUATION. SAVE YOUR ACCOUNT, USE TRAINER.
Test deck:
6sundials
6precogs
6fractals
6aflatoxins
6fire lances
(various changes to adapt to test).
___________
AI deck:
a false god (30 minor phoenixes, fire mark).
___________________________________
Test 1:
Aflatoxin on Minor Phoenix, Killed with Firelance.
Generates a Bug blank 0|0 creature. Fractaled it. It filled my hand with Invisible cards, costing 9 :aether each.
After the AI played his turn, the 0|0 creature turned into a "Minor" Ash.
The card I drew covered an invisicard. Drawing more with sundials gave me a 8 cards limit, can't draw, even if the invisicards had disappeared. At a certain point, those reappered, costing 9. Playing one of the invisicards made me lose the game. I didn't manage to replicate this.
Aflatoxin on Standard Phoenix, Gave Malignant Cell.

Test 2:
Aflatoxin on Minor Phoenix, Killed with Firelance.
Generates a Bug blank 0|0 creature. Fractaled it. It filled my hand with Invisible cards, costing 9 each.
Trying to further kill the blank 0|0 creature gave a "Minor" Ash. I suppose that the 0|0 dying unlocks the bug.
The next turn, I killed with a firelance the minor ash, and generated another 0|0 creature using the same procedure.
Curiously, AI played a phoenix where the Dead Ash was, and at the end of the turn there was a death effect. Didn't manage to replicate this.

Before pressing END turn, the invisicards were not visibile at all.
_______________
Test 3:
The bug gives no death effect.

Test 4:
Nightmared a Bug 0|0.
AI discarded 7 cards at once.
Precog didn't show what the last card was.
Playing another Nightmare gave him a hand of 8 minor ashes. (The turn had passed.)
_______________
Test 5:
Nightmared a Bug 0|0. Used Precog. Didn't show what the cards where. Nightmared it again. It showed a hand of 8 invisicards.
Every nightmare removed 16.
AI discarded 2 invisicards
_______________
Test 6:
On my side.
Minor Ph + Afla + Lance = 0|0 and everything standard
Minor Ph + Alfa + Cremation = Malignant Cell
_______________
Test 7:
Chaos Power makes it survive.
_______________
Test 8:
Twin universe gives 0|0 creatures without Phoenix, they don't turn in ashes.
_______________
Test 9:
0|0 is airborne. Full attack and health are 0.
CP+Mitosis on 0|0 generates 0|0 creatures without the phoenix skill.
Mitosis costs :fire :fire
_______________
Test 10:
Sky blitz works normally.

I found that out in playing ep but this will help and people can use this to see what happens when this happens to them. +rep

I did some of my own back in the days, it was surprisingly fun
-
Is there somebody brave enough to test the effects of this in PVP Duel?
Or even in trainer.
(The tests are needed on the invisible card).
-
Bug Hunter required?
I'm more than willing to help you test.

The bug reason is simple.
Zanz has fixed that when Phoenix dies of Aflaintoxication it becomes a cell, but things conflict in other cases.
I just wanted to find out more about the invisible card effects.
-
I can help test, but I'm actually not sure why this is happening (also, in trainer, when I try to give my opponent a 30 minor phoenix deck apparently he gets some weird kind of Aether pendulum, that can't be played). When aflatoxin was used on my phoenixes in the past, they always die and turn into cells normally.
-
just experienced this issue today at arena. there seems to be a mechanism glitch such that Phoenix's death by Aflatoxin won't give maliggy cell ::)
-
well glad this was at the top.. just testing my own arena deck that uses alfatoxin and my pheonix became the target. none of the above happened... it just died and became a cell.. shouldnt it become and ash + a cell? or does the alfatoxin override the pheonix ability?

When the Phoenix is aflatoxined and dies by poison, it becomes a cell.
If the Phoenix is aflatoxined, and dies by another source, god save the queen.

so if alfatoxin kills it, it becomes a cell with no ash? and god save the queen??? what? im guessing that means alt. source kills pheonix u get an ash and a cell?

If it doesn't die by infection, you usually get a 0|0 black creature that turns into ash upon death.

i see hence rest of the bug issues.. well i havent had that happen yet but will watch for it i guess. shouldnt be too hard to just change it to make an ash and a cell? logically is what i thought it would do.

I should bump this topic.
Cremation makes it perfectly normal.
Rage Elixir still gives the horrible blank 0|0 creature that then turns into an ash. (This is more an annoyance than a bug)
