Card text :
and randomly converts some of the opponent's quantums to other elements.

To my experience it's not that random...it usually takes away quantum from the one(s) you have the most, and gives you some of the rest instead.
It does that consistently, it usually is able to prevent me from hitting 8 aether quanta long enough to lose the game (5-6 turns or more), in spite of having 3-4 towers (and my mark) out. In the unlikely case that I manage to play my fractal, I still lose because even with 6+ rays out, I can't accumulate the 7 light quanta to play the shield.

I'm not sure if this is intended behavior, but if it is, this card is VERY OVERPOWERED.

Unless you are playing rainbow, the converted quanta will be useless for you...so discord in addition to doing 6 damage, essentially removes a random amount of your quanta, where that "amount" is a pretty high number, like 4-5. If you play a dual deck, then that applies to both type of your quanta. That is more than what your towers produce (unless it's already turn 20, of course), and you can easily become unable to play card cards for the rest of the game, especially if your cards have a cost higher than 6...

anyway...not being able to collect 8 aether quanta from 3-4 pillars+mark in the entire game is insane, do something about it.

If it is a bug, fix, if not, nerf.

(It is probably overlooked because everyone plays rainbow, but this card KILLS every non-rainbow deck if played before the endgame. It would be overpowered even without doing 6 damage....come on, taking away more quanta than you can produce up to the mid-game? And playable on turn 2?)

It moves quanta from a few random quanta pools which have quanta in them to a few other quanta pools. So if you're mono you'll still be affected every time, not one third or so of the time.

While this can be devastating against mono decks it has to be played early to have the desired impact, and my experience is that you can still get out a few low cost cards - so Discord is not really that bad (unless combined with Gravity Nymphs). My aether mono withstands an early Discord without much trouble: I just play Phase Shields early to block it. You could also block it with Bone Wall, Dissipation Shield or Hope ... or make it miss with a Dusk Mantle or Fog Shield. And of course you could also destroy or steal it.

In my opinion it isn't any more overpowered than the other quanta denial cards - and unlike the other quanta denial cards this one is situational since it won't work against rainbows.

Does anybody know, how many quantums are converted ? I only know, that the amount is not always the same.

Yeah, on the first turn it is obvious...
but on the second, there are 4-5 other quanta types already from the first activation, so there would be a 1/5 chance for the same one being chosen again.
And after the third turn, you have all 12 (or almost) types of quanta, yet, it still takes away from both of the two types your deck uses.
The only way this can happen is if the weapon always selects the type(s) you have the most of first, or if it selects like 4-5 types to convert AND the chance is calculated based on how many of each you have (giving a higher chance for the one your actually play)
This is definitely unfair as a "bonus" effect on a weapon that already does 6 damage, without no cost whatsoever.

I'm not 100% sure, but unupgraded discord seems to convert less than the upgraded one.

I am playing a hope deck, so hope is the only option out of those for me. However, it costs 7 quanta, and the fractal before it costs 8...I couldn't collect that much in 5-6 turns even with 3-4 towers out, so I lose if it is played before my hope is...with such a low cost, basically the game just breaks down to "will the god draw discord in the first 3-5 turns"...unfortunately with double draws, it does pretty often.
The problem is, you might be able to reach 5 quanta in a reasonable time, but 8... not. And not every deck is based on lower cost cards. Permanent destruction is even more limited, only darkness and fire has it in mono, and earth-gravity in form of pulverizer, and that's it. Every other element cannot destroy permanents.

And other quanta denial is not this bad, a devourer takes only one quanta per turn instead of a random amount between 3-5 of both types.
(Ok earthquake IS bad, but that card is seriously overpowered even more than this one... you destroy three cards with one, and for a minimal cost too...)

Then again, a single, somewhat overpowered card is the least of the problem with the game when they are played by AI that draws two cards, has double life, and triple marks...even on level 5, not just on 6...It's just I'm not sure if it is intended this way, abnd the least we could expect for an overpowered card is an EXACT explanation on how it works.
