Opponent receives no Damage https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=4188.msg41174#msg41174

I'm not sure if this is really a bug, please correct me if I'm wrong.

I was playing PvP with my AI3-Grinder set (Time-based Graboid/Shreiker).

Had 3 Shreikers out, Opponent (also Time) had only Quantum Pillars out. But my Creatures didn't seem to make any damage. Instead, they healed him.

Here's a Screenshot (a bit later, where he already got an Shield out):

And here's another one, where u can see the healing when I'm attacking:

I know that there are Cards which let you heal yourself with the damage u receive, but he didn't seem to had one of those. Also, shouldn't his HP decrease first before he heals?

I'm confused!

Two things are happening.

First: He has used antimatter on your shriekers.  That's why their attacks are negative.  All damage dealt is returned as healing.  I recommend you bury all your shriekers, so they may not be targeted, but barring that bury your antimattered ones to stop their attack.
Second: He has played eclipse shield.  This allows him to use one quanta to prevent three damage.  This does not however stop healing.  As shriekers deal 8 damage, you'll need one non-antimattered (it'll have a positive amount of attack) for every three of his pillars to eventually break the shield.

Stopping this is quite simple.  As I said earlier, burying your creatures halves their attack and protects them against antimatter.  If you bury them all, then you protect those that aren't antimattered and halve the damage of those who are healing.  Use the card quicksand on his pillars to reduce quanta generation, and eventually you'll not only destroy his shield, but you'll destroy any quanta he has, completely halting the deck.

unit748596: Yes I know about the Shield, but as I said, it also happened before he played it.

Gl1tch: What is Eclipse Shield? I get that with the Dissipation Shield, but he did not play any other other Card before that, just plain Quantum Pillars.

[...] Opponent (also Time) had only Quantum Pillars out.
The screenshots show an Entropy mark opponent with Amethyst Pillars, not Time/Quantum. Either you got confused, or you desynched.
What desynch is:
Quote from: Known Bugs
This causes each client to keep track of different sets of data, which can lead to interesting things happening when one client sends instructions to the other which don't follow from the receiving client's game state.
Had 3 Shreikers out, [...]. But my Creatures didn't seem to make any damage. Instead, they healed him.
Some of your shriekers (3 of 4 in the first SS, 4 of 6 in the second) were Antimattered (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,2036.0.html). This makes them heal your opponent instead of damaging them.

It's my impression or atimattered creatures that attack a dissipation shield creates quanta for the opponent?

I see what you mean in he should be getting healed and that would bypass the shield but I don't think it should be generating quanta for him. It's kind of odd though because the quanta he is receiving isn't matching the quanta he would receive if you did receive quanta from healing when using diss shield.

He's not receiving quanta. The "+8"s are coming down from the HP bar. The "-8"s are going up from the Shriekers. The "-3"s are going left from the entropy counter.

Oh, I was confused by the numbers in the image. The +8 there are bigger, the antimatter causes the creature to ignore the shield and heal the opponent.

EDIT: @Delrich

A complex term in Elements, not many people can handle.  Those who are experts call it......
a typo.
