Shard of Bravery mitigate/nullified

Sometimes when I play SoB, it draws less cards than it should be drawing. This is when I have at least 3 open card slots.
I'm not sure if this is something that was intended to happen, but it happens more often when I use more than one SoB in one turn. Sometimes, it doesn't draw any cards at all when I have 3 cards in my hand.
Is anyone else experiencing this, or is it just me?

Unfortunately, I have no screenshots, although I don't know how it would help if I had any.

SoB makes draw also the oppo.
You'll draw the same number of cards of your opponent, so if your opponent have no empty slots, SoB will have no effect.

SoBe also has no effect if your opponent has a sanctuary.

Oh, I thought the card draw was independent from the opponent's card draw. Didn't pay close attention to the card wording, I guess
