Title says it all. Been doing the Oracle in the beta as well, and every time, I have not received the card that it says. Is there something I'm missing?

You don't get the card shown unless the "Get the Card" button appears.

Yep. Sometimes you get it, sometimes you don't. Every element in the Oracle is random, and that's the beauty of it.

Wow, so my luck sucks even more then. The cards I was getting were bad, and now I find out I can't even get them.

Ah, I wondered when the first of these threads would pop up.

I'm hoping that Zanz will alter the Oracle so this situation is more intuitive. It will probably take a lot more complaints, though.

It would be better when no card shows up when you can't recieve it ... today it showed me a Morning Star and I was happy like a child that got candies . . . and then I desperately searched the card for several minutes >.<

yeah... this blows... what's the point of seeing your card if you can't get it... And you should get good cards too, after all it's a once in a day thing...

Whats the point of geting your fortune told if you know it isn't going to come true?

It's all luck based and the card is merly a filler for when you dont win

I encountered this as well.  I won, earlier today, a lobotomizer in the oracle.  I clicked get card.  I also got a nymph as a pet.  Someone in the chat had mentioned that when you win a nymph pet, you keep it afterward (maybe that was false?).  In any event, after I finished my FG battle, I went to inventory and did not have the nymph or the lobotomizer.  Thoughts?

OK, I understand about the randomness about the oracle. However, if it shows a card it should give you a card if not leave the spot blank. what is the point of showing you a card if you your not going to get it? No offense to the creator (because this is a really cool game) but it makes absolutely no sense to show a card if you get nothing.

I believe the amount of electrum you get is partially based off of the card.
