I've posted this before Here (
http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,9581.msg172206#msg172206), but since Evaria is helping Gl1tch with the bugs; it deserve its own topic. My testing based on the claim made by the dictator below. This is a long post with lots of pictures, so please bear with me.
[snip]...because I said myself that I was hit by a dune scorpion, thus bringing the counter to zero.
At that time, so my next turn, I had a blue (purify) counter of zero, but when playing a card, I was poisoned for one.
The bug is the fact that it doesn't make sense to have neurotoxin applied when you aren't poisoned.
[/snip]
TEST 1 - Below is one of the first few tests to prove that the dictator is correct. Note that unupgraded purify was used.
1.1. I got hit by a blessed dune scorpion.
1.2. I played purify to stop the neurotoxin
1.3. In the same turn, I played two cards (phase shield and momentum on the scorpion). The neurotoxin counter didn't go up because purify stops it. End turn.
1.4. I got hit again by the scorpion and the counter shows zero.
1.5. In the same turn, I played a card (bone wall) and the counter goes up.
TEST 2 - Things got weird here that contradicts the previous test. Note that upgraded purify was used.
2.1. I managed to play 3 early purify before the dune scorpion appear (finally!). I buffed the scorpion with momentum. End turn.
2.2. The purify counter goes down to +5 and I was inflicted with neurotoxin.
2.3. In the same turn, I played 5 cards reducing the purify counter to zero - but the game didn't show any counter at all unlike the previous scenario.
(Interesting fact #1)
2.4. Still in the same turn, I played the 5th card - no neurotoxin counter showed. This suggest that I was somehow free of neurotoxin without ever playing a new purify.
(Interesting fact #2)
2.5. In the next turn, obviously the scorpion can hit me due to momentum. But the moment the scorpion hit me, the neurotoxin counter went straight to +2.
(Interesting fact #3)
2.6. I didn't played any cards so the subsequent scorpion's attack increased the neurotoxin counter to +3.
FINDINGS - These are the things that needs confirmation.
- #2.3 might just be a visual bug, but doesn't it contradict what happen in my previous testing?
- #2.4 looks like a bug that might caused by #2.3 because neurotoxin should be still in effect
- #2.5 is definitely a bug because I can't find the reason why the neurotoxin counter suddenly goes up to +2. And I don't quite understand how my HP goes from 84 to 82.
