as tittle

I put the card "Dissipation Shield" on board as a shield.
But, when the hostile creatures attack me, it does nothing.
So, I die and the dissipation shield is still on the field as a shield.
I still have many entropy elements in my mana pool.

Or did your opponent have a Sapphire Charger or Chimera in the field, or anything else with the ability of Momentum? That makes the target creature bypass all shields.
