The Ai played aflatoxin on my Shard of focus. After I blew up a third permanent, the black hole came into my hand, but I didn't get any maligant cell.

Is this even counted as a death effect? The card do say "turn into Black Hole" not "die and generate Black Hole".

Since a fix to that problem includes an answer to this (whether or not it's supposed to be a death effect), locking topic.
