neurotoxin preventing attacks [unconfirmed] https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=35291.msg444583#msg444583

I suppose it's possible that this is meant to be, but when I've been affected by neurotoxin (dune scorpion), attacks from already played creatures are no longer being registered. There is no shield, they are not frozen -- even new creatures created by mitosis will not produce successful attacks. *New* creatures, played from the hand after the initial infection, will attack.

I read the explanation of neurotoxin, and this effect was not mentioned.

You're misinterpreting the card text :)

"Neurotoxin: Add 1 poison damage to each successful attack, 1 extra poison for each card played."

The "each successful attack" part applies to just the Dune Scorpion itself. Other creatures attacking and doing damage will not increase the neurotoxin count. If a player with a neurotoxin counter plays a card from their hand, they receive 1 more neurotoxin counter.

I don't think that's what he meant - his post seems to indicate that the creatures he plays won't attack if he has a neurotoxin counter on himself.

At the moment the only explanation I have is that your opponent has played Sundial...do you have a screenshot depicting the situation accurately for greater evidence?

Hm, that's possible I guess, though it seems to be for more than just the one turn. I'll have to watch that; I'll also try for some screenshots next time it happens. Thanks!
