Dark Matter Bug https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=7099.msg76486#msg76486
« on: May 28, 2010, 01:32:32 pm »
I just faced Dark Matter for the first time. I was very shocked at the end. He used 1-2 black holes a turn, thus i only had time to get out 1 shield and a steal. The battle lasted 5 minutes and i couldn't do anything the whole time. 1-2 black holes a turn is wayy to powerful. Please fix this. Idk if this is AI or what but idk how someone is supposed to win against this deck without using a mono deck. Ty  ;)

Its not a bug, its exactly how its suppose to be. Dark matter is just insane like that. The False Gods are SUPPOSE to be unrealistically strong.

According to the Wiki, Dark Matter has 12 Black Holes, which is a lot, but it is the Gravity Nymphs that allow him to do it every turn.  You definitely want to either destroy or lobotomize the nymphs to stand a chance.  Also, if you have any Novas or Cremations don't play them until the turn you will play the cards that need those quanta.  A Lobotomizer helps a lot, because you can stop the nymphs, otyughs, and chargers.

The only possible way to get lobo out and play it's effect is via supernova. and with an incredibly good and fast draw

Hmm, well he never had any nymphs on the field and he played wayy more then 12 black holes. He played 1-2 every turn for about 20 draws... idk, just seems absurd.

I've been mainly using Fractal/RoL/Hope for FG farming, and the Lobo works wonders.  Of course that is a duo build.  I can see that a rainbow would have a real hard time with Dark Matter.

That was the point of DM, Zanz, Chriskang and SG (aka the holy trinity) wanted people to stop using rainbows.
