It just looks like whatever flag that lets you have more than six of pillars/pendulums wasn't set for the death pendulum - it's only letting me use six in my deck.

This is already a confirmed bug, as stated by another thread in this same board. It is a bit more complicated than your description, however. The bug happens when you use the "Remove All" button to clear your deck. If you start adding pendulums of any type, the game will not allow you to add more than six.
