Momentum ignores Grav Pull, and Weapons ignore that always, too.
It has never been different.
I don´t think it´s a bug. It´s intentional.
That can be annoying, if you protect yourself with Armagios and a Morning Glory goes around.
Lost some games due to this fact.

Gravity pull reads: "The creature enchanted with gravity pull will absorb ALL the damage directed against its owner. "
That means weapon damage too.

Than the card description is bad. And I took it from the wikia. Still a flaw, if not a bug.

Gravity pull also does not absorb Fire Bolt or Poison damage.

It just works against creatures.
