Sometimes after I draw a card, the card is invisible in the hand display and can't be clicked on. However, it counts as the 8th card and can be discarded if that dialogue comes up. This seems to happen when the card graphic and my cursor cross paths as the card is being drawn. The process of card magnification seems to screw things up in this situation (but not in any other case).

That is the most annoying thing I experienced so far ... and it doesn't even have to do with fast clicking / drawing / whatever. Don't now, why this happens.

Look at the top of that screenshot - you got disconnected.

Disconnect and Card Draw

Reconnecting to the server can cause bugs.  If you try to reconnect while drawing a card, the card draw animation will play, but no new cards will be added to your hand.

I don't know what to do about it, though. You could try finishing the game before reconnecting, but doing that often could make you look suspicious in the eyes of a cheat detection mechanism.
