when i click the ability and cancel, it does not return my qauntums. i can take pictures if needed.  ^^

this is intended and aplys to all creatures with an ability, its zanz way of calling you dumb for clicking it when you didnt have anything to cast it on.

gives me back for every other card i use. why is it only for fire nymph?
i can also show you pictures of my other cards giving back qauntums.

CARDS give you quanta back if you cancel them (you also keep the card).
ABILITIES do not give you quanta back if you cancel them (and the ability cannot be used again until next turn).

Technically, creatures and permanents do not provide refunds.  Only targetable spells do.

Shard of Readiness does not take your quanta until after you select your target.  I think all abilities should work this way.

Animate Weapon will use a quantum if there is no weapon equipped, but Flying Weapon will not.
