Healing problems with Adrenaline [Not a bug] https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=30314.msg385096#msg385096

Sorry, I couldn't get a screenshot of this incident once again. I will next time.

I was up against a Halfblood (Vital) with the Voodoo deck (Shak'ars revenge deck) and the AI had a Feral bond and an Empathic bond out with a Cockatrice and a Horned frog Dealing 7 (4+3) and Healing 4 (2+2). When an Adrenaline was applied to the Cockatrice, it did 11 (9+2) which is fairly normal, but healing an unexpected number of 9.

I tried to remake this situation, but couldn't. Could someone check or remake this please?

Thanks

Firstly, the total damage for adren'd Cockatrice and Horned frog should be 12 not 11. i.e adren'd Cockatrice (4+3+2=9) plus Horned frog (3) is 12 damage. But I guess this is just a typo/miscalculation on your part and not related to the bug.

Then, I thought somehow feral/emphatic bond is back to its previous state (heal for every creature attack instead of healing per creature at the end of the turn). Even if that's the case, it should heal a total of 8 HP not 9. So, I gave it a few tries in the game and trainer but I couldn't reproduce it.

Since there's no screenshot, my guess would be that you didn't notice the AI had a Druid/Jade staff. Two bonds with two creatures and a Druid/Jade staff will heal 9 (2+2+5=9).

Yeah, The 12 was a typo sorry,  and I thought Feral/Empathic Bond only heals for every creature now, not it's previous state. And I'm not sure if healing applies, but I had a basilisk blood on a voodoo meaning the weapon was still delayed (I am 100% sure), but I am not sure if Healing applies when it is being delayed. But I guess, as you explained it, it isn't a bug.

Hmm.. new info! A delayed jade/druid staff. I'm not entirely sure if it's intended though and I can't recall what's the verdict about a delayed Fahrenheit too. Just one more thing - do you remember if it's druid or jade staff?

Healing still applies when it is delayed or frozen, regardless of whether it is in the weapon slot or a creature.  I remember the verdict on Druidic vs Fahrenheit was that the effects were treated differently since Fahrenheit's ability is integrated with its base attack (and if that attack doesn't occur then it would have no damage to deal period) whereas the Staff's ability is independent of it attacking but rather takes place at the end of the turn, similar to a SoG.  I do think it's odd that creatures such as Devourers don't exhibit this behavior under the same circumstances, but given that this hasn't been changed, I believe that the Staff's behavior is intended.
