I just fought the false god Chaoslord and his Dissipation Field didn't do anything.

Same thing happened to me just now, happened a couple times in the past but this is the first time I really noticed it. And he didn't take my Sanctuary. Oddly enough I can't replicate it in the trainer, either beta or regular.

Actually, I think its just weapon. And I have screenshots this time.

If you have sanc on your side it'll let your weapon attack. Known bug, feel free to find it in this very subforum.

I fought a Ghostmere deck in Arena.
I had Sanctuary, and an unupped Dissipation Shield (from unupped Shard of Serendipity)

The opponents Ghosts hit me through the Shield, my Shield did not go away.

Something to do with the Sanctuary effect, but should the shield disappear or not?
Now it just stays there and does nothing (maybe until Sanctuary is destroyed somehow)
