Hi.

I just had a match vs AI5 (light). He had a reflective shield out and cast a holy light which then was reflected onto me.

Thought the shield should only reflect damage (he was light, no darkness)?

The reflective shield does not reflect damage, it reflects spells.  Holy light is a spell.

The wording is not great, but that's what it's intended to do. For a better wording read the text on the Emerald/Jade Shield

yeah, I would say the wording is wrong.
checking descriptions of other cards to understand this one cannot be the intent of the maker :)

if it's not a bug put it somewhere else then...

It's an AI bug.
Have seen it too.

Light  mark (or any maybe?) have reflective shield out and use holy light to heal but it's reflected on opponent (me) instead.
Either the spell should not be reflected (consider the shield and rules it actually should).
Or... the AI should not use spells on itself when such a shield is active.

Holy Light has always reflected. It is clearly a targeted spell; the wording on both Emerald Shield and Reflective Shield have been the topic of concern for a long time, and have already undergone changes. So this is not a bug so much as a wording clarity issue.

In the case of the reflective shield wouldn't you just have to cast something on yourself to make it reflect to the person who has the sheild or youself having the shield and casting a holy on other person so it will heal you instead of reflecting from you to him? As in lance yourself? Or is it fix to not happen?
