Losing to your own arena deck gives your arena deck a loss [unconfirmed] https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=33024.msg417171#msg417171

To clarify, this is a match against the Ai in natural format, not testing. And the deck I was farming with lost to the arena deck, but the arena deck received a loss to its record.

Now, I have no screenshot, mostly because I didn't think this would have been a problem. But I know specifically that the record was 12-3 before going into the match, and 12-4 after coming back out. It didn't count as a victory for my deck, since a circle wasn't lit up. To be through I checked details before exiting the arena, so it might have something to do with that button.

The only confound is if the arena doesn't recognize matches with self, even when its not a practice match, into its record, and my deck suffered a loss at the same time.

no, probably while you battled your own deck while someone else did.

Lost to my deck yesterday and it counted as a win.

It has worked for me in the past - losing to my arena deck gave it a win. Are you 100% sure that it gave it a loss?

I know that "that" isn't the case because if this happened then it would have received both a win and a loss, where the deck only received a loss. Might be something with clicking into the details menu after the match, which is the only thing I can think of to create such an abnormality. I'm currently in the process of checking if this happens only against your own deck, or if this is a problem for the arena in general.

However, that could be the case if it just so happened that someone defeated your deck and your loss to your own deck wasn't recorded (I do recall claims being made about decks not recording wins correctly in the past).  In which case it could be a different bug...gah.

That sounds entirely possible, and is likely what happened. i just checked, and the whole clicking details thing after losing a match still gives the opponent a win, at least when its not your own deck. So that theory looks a little less possible. The big reason I care is that I'm tracking how well my arena decks do, and now i don't know whether to count that as a win, a loss, or both.

But yes, if thats the bug, I'm not sure how to go about fixing it. Probably a similar technical issue to where if you have two windows open and are playing elements in both only one will save the data and stuff in the other will be lost.
