Hourglass Bug https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=51893.msg1104616#msg1104616

I don't know if this was already posted, I searched around a bit, but found nothing exact..

Maybe I play too fast, or click cards too fast, but when I use my Hourglass or even Sundial at times, I see the card draw, but it does not go to my hand, nor can I use it. Several times has this been a matter between life and death. Hope this gets fixed!

There are also certain general types of bugs that are known and do not need to be individually reported, these include:
Rapid Draw problems
Symptoms:  Not drawing a card you should have, despite having room for it in hand.  Being forced to discard an invisible 99 cost card.

Also, is there any explanation for how they happen and how to prevent them?
As far as I know it happens because a drawing event is triggered before the previous event is processed, causing stuff to get mixed up and go wrong. Best way I know to prevent it is to not try doing anything until an event has finished. So for example when you draw a card with an hourglass you don't try to play cards/activate abilities until the card drawn shows up in your hand.
