Can't steal enemy's weapon

Having both Steal and Deflagration in my hand, why I can't steal or destroy my enemy's weapon in PvP?
The weapon has no mark of Time on it (it is not Morning Star or other unstealable weapon).
Noticed two times (btw it was Eagle's Eye in both accidents).
Is it a bug or it works as intended?

I believe it's a bug currently in the PvP. Sometimes you won't be able to steal a weapon, other times something odd will happen to the creatures. Happened to me. I couldn't steal my opp's Pulvi and then suddenly there was a burrowed Oty with the devour ability on his side of the field.

Yes, this is a very common PvP bug that is related to desync issues. Hopefully there is a fix to this at some point.
