Broken Phoenix Mechanic [Unconfirmed]

I have noticed several times in arena that sometimes when my newly laid (Summoned the Previous turn) Phoenix is poisoned, when it dies it doesnt Ashify, it just disappears (dies) it isn't consistent, It happens on many poisons sometimes and sometimes not, I have noticed it most with the use of liquid shadow.

Liquid Shadow replaces the 'Phoenix' ability with 'Vampire'.. without that ability it won't turn into Ash.

What Majofa said. With Liquid Shadow, it is basically like Lobotomizing then poisoning them, except for the fact that instead of having no ability, their ability is Vampire. This can only happen with their active skills though. Skills like Airborne, Poisonous, Obsession, and Devourer are passive abilities, which cannot be lobotomized unless using the active skill "Web" on an Airborne creature.

Not a bug.

The effects of Aflatoxin and Skull Shield have higher priority than the Phoenix ability, so they will activate first and kill the Phoenix without it rebirthing.
