So I tested my arena deck and A.I used accretion on my BoneWall.
I still had some counters as can be seen but the picture disappeared.
No damage has then been blocked and the counter remained for the rest of the game.

I was a little distracted so I can't remember...
Maybe I had 4 and accretion destroyed one and then bonewall was gone.
Or maybe 3 and accretion just let the bonewall disappear.
