Antimatter + dive [Unconfirmed] https://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php?topic=22873.msg289957#msg289957

1) Opponent mutated one of my creatures into a 10/7 azure dragon with Dive
2) Opponent Antimattered my dragon (so now -10/7)
3) I activated Dive (for the hell of it) - dragon became -20/7
4) dragon healed opponent for 20 and turned into a 10/7 creature (rather than -10/7)

Elements 1.27

(have not tried to reproduce)

Are you sure it went back to 10/7? That negative can be pretty hard to see

I'm -pretty sure- that when you dive an antimattered creature, it reverts to its normal attack. Possibly something with it going back to its base attack after diving.

Not sure if its a bug though.
You're just as selfish as I am. You're just not as good at it yet.

On patch 1.26, dive should not cancel AM anymore. See link (http://elementscommunity.org/forum/index.php/topic,17535.msg238593#msg238593):

I've tried to reproduce this but normal creatures with dive work as intended (still has -ve attack after dive) and getting a mutant with dive requires too many tries.

So, I went to try it in the trainer. Though I believe it is better to test in the real game rather than the trainer, but it might help others if they want to try it in the real game.

As for the result from the trainer... I found that airborne mutant will cancel AM after diving. Screenshots below shows a mutant artic squid with dive did not cancel the AM, while the mutant crimson dragon with dive canceled it.

Again, I'm not entirely sure this is the cause since this was done in the trainer. It will be helpful if someone could confirm this in the real game. Btw, I suggest to change the title as "Antimatter + mutant with dive".

edit: removed trainer differences. Earlier in trainer AM'ed pegasus & wrym cancel AM after diving.

It's still not patched, it should have been in 1.26 but it was reported again failing shortly after the release.

But have you tested it now? I can assure you that dive does not cancel AM - well, at least for the normal creatures with dive skill.

Now that is weird. I remember cancelling AM with a pegasus, but I can't recall if it was 1.26 or 1.27.

I think dive and skyblitz both cancel out antimatter. There's the doubled negative attack for one turn, but then the creature returns to the pre-anti mattered state. In other words, it is normal again. I can't vouch for it right now, but I had the idea it happened to both dragons and wyrms. If that is correct it's a universal effect.

And I figured I'd test it to be sure. Strangest thing: No effect at all. If it is a bug, it is not consistent, but I know I saw something weird. Will edit, if I find it.

Shards aren't overpowered, as long as you have them yourself.

Tried it again. When I put antimatter on myself, I could not get rid of the effect. However, when an opponent in t50 put antimatter on me, the effect was negated after doubling damage. This was a dragon on skyblitz, not a wyrm. However I did see it on wyrms also, just not sure when.

Though I still can't reproduce that, I guess you could be right; it is inconsistent. I suppose that makes it tougher to fix.

I also have a thread like this burried around this part. Glad people finally found screenies of what I didn't.

I know for sure it happens now, but I ruined the screen shot  >:D

Ok got it. This is skyblitz, but I think the same applies to doubling such as with the wyrm.

I got the minus OFF the second dragon, but I still lost.
