Fire Shield vs Boosted Creature

I have lost creatures with health > 1 to a fire shield. It only appears to be creatures that have had their stats boosted and it does not appear to matter if it was due to ability (devour) or card (plate armor).

Had you used Adrenaline on the creature? Adrenalined creatures are affected by infection and Fire Shield for every extra attack beyond the first as well.

No, I started paying attention when I began using (and randomly losing) scarab swarms. I payed close attention to their hp gauges when I thought I had just set one down and 2 turns later after I had just used devour and put its hp to 4. It was hit by two Thunderstorms and then when I finished my next turn, it died.

Scarab health drops if other scarabs are killed; did you lose any others due to the Thunderstorms or any other reason?

The other two were still alive with 1 hp each so I didn't find it odd that they died at the end of that same turn.

If this bug could be recreated (possibly with screenshots?), that would be helpful. I understand that might be difficult, but I've not seen this before so some confirmation that it wasn't just a freak circumstance of play or memory would be good.
