Title: AI playing cards it shouldn't be able to in Arena
Post by: ElementalDearWatson on August 15, 2012, 08:00:57 pm
Bit of a weird one.  I was playing Gold League, I won the toss and played my few cards.  The AI then played one Death Pillar and one Death Pendulum, immediately followed by two Poisons.  Both quanta generators it played were Unupped but, even had they been Upped, it should still only have had enough quanta to play one Poison.  It only had a single mark, as well, if that's at all relevant.

Poison costs 1 :death
Deadly Poison costs 2 :death
You're sure the pillar/pend was unupped?

I meant to say Deadly Poison.  The Poison was definitely Upped, because I had 6 counters against me after it'd played the cards.

And, yes, I checked and double-checked that it's Pillar and Pendulum were Unupped.

Okay, that's weird, it just happened to me.  I played 2 Upped Bone Towers in my first round after winning the toss and my Upped Aflatoxin lit up for me to play it.  I looked to the left and saw that I had 5 :death quanta.

For the first one you didn't happen to make a singulairity did you?

For yours, maybe it was some fast click glitch. How many towers were in the resulting stack?

No, I was playing PoisonDials.  IIRC, I had out a couple of Towers and a Sundial.  I certainly didn't have any Supernovae in my hand.

Only the 2.
