This is happening right now, in Arena, against prezoelf's deck (Gold league). The AI is destroying a lot of permanents (i.e. not a once-in-a-lifetime happening) without playing cards or activating abilities.

Quick facts:

Enemy permanent slots are full when this happens (I think I've read something about multiple Perm destruction when this happened)

PC in enemy's deck: Explosions, Pulverizers, Steals, Crusaders

Enemy has 2x draw, 2x deck

I'm 100% sure this wasn't the result of PC spells, as I was obviously paying close attention to the match when this began to happen

Every permanent is destroyed after a card is played. Then, legit (aka not bug) PC applies





(The turns before this, more shards decided to disappear, along with some sancs/towers/hgs, but I wasn't too sure about what was happenning)

I had the same (I don't know for sure but I thought it was only the SOG's (about 10 of them XD).

Opponent (and mine) perm slots (and creature slots) were full. He didn't own pc.

If i remember it correct: 1 shard dissapeared at the end of my turn, and one at the beginning of the AI

Weirdly enough, this thing targeted shards before HGs, unlike the pulverizer and crusader, which preferred to take the HGs before the shards IIRC.

I've had this happen several different times while grinding against Platinum.  Let me explain what is causing this bug to trigger.

1)  The AI has a full set of permanents on their field.
2)  The AI plays Steal
3)  Permanents suddenly start to disappear.

I know this to be true because I happened to be facing an opponent with Mindgate, stole several of them, and then noticed that every single time I Mindgated a Steal that this would suddenly start to occur the very next turn that that Steal was drawn.

Now as to why it occurs...I'm not sure.  It doesn't seem to be logical at all so I can only assume it has something to do with coding but that's only a guess.

The crusader certainly activated, I think it destroyed the tower. That leaves 2 Shards and 2 Sanctuaries unexplained. Also, this was also happening while said Crusader was frozen, but you're going to have to believe me, I have no proof of that.

EDIT: Also, notice how the screenshots were taken with a one turn difference.

It happened to me quite often the last 2 days.

To me it seems, when the AI has a steal but no room in the permant rows it tries to steal, which destroys the target permanent, but when there's no room on the AI side the steal gets canceled and put back in its hand -  since I had the AI destroy 6 permanents in a row on me without drawing new cards (no hourglass, no time nymph, no precogs, no sundials, no mindgates (though I didn't have any steals left in the rest of my deck anyways)) and its hand stayed full 8 cards the whole time.

It definitely seems like a recurrent bug - I also had the same problem happen to me a couple of times.

something similar happened to me when I went against Jezebel.  Even worse, both times that this occurred she had cloak on the field and I had set the AI play speed to high, so I was like ???

99.99% chance that she played steal and you didn't notice it because of the cloak and high speed
