Vampire & SoSa

With Sosa active, vampires heal me, but also heals the vampire's owner. Since Sosa have effect: "swap damage with healing" and vampires have: "damage dealt is returned to you as healing", shouldn't vampires take away health from its owner?

Encountered this a few times when I finally completed poison dials, though I'm not sure if it's a bug.

I assume you mean SoSa is active for the opponent. If your vampire does X damage, to your opponent, he loses -X hp so he gets healed, but from the vampire on your point of view, he's still attacking with X damage, so you get healed for X hp.

Thematically, the vampire is still draining blood from the opponent to give to you, you're getting healed, but so is your opponent since they are under the effects of SoSa.

If this makes any sense, the damage dealt by Vampire is separate from the damage taken by the opponent.  The Vampire is still dealing positive damage and healing in kind.  SoSac just inverts the damage after it is taken.

If vampires worked this way pdials would be much more awesome. Unfortunately I can't even remember how many times they pwned my deck.
