I was playing against Scropio in the trainer with Jade Shield in play when he casted Deadly Poision. However, the poison is not reflected.

Poison is not considered direct damage, i believe, so it's not reflected by that shield.

Actually, poison doesn't target, so Jade Shield won't reflect it.

Unstable Gas doesn't exactly target either, but reflecting shields reflect it.

Instant damage effects from spells and abilities are reflected. Because Poison doesn't cause damage upon casting, it is not reflected.
