Cannot steal Eagle's Eye

Was it in PvP? Was there a Time (infinity) symbol over your opponent's EE?

It's probably a desync problem then.

Just a while ago I try to use steal to steal opponent's Eagle's Eye (Not Owl's eye) and the white target sign doesn't appear after I have clicked steal with more than enough mana. I clicked on Eagle's Eye after clicking my steal card and it didn't work. The target sign appear on other permanent (like pillars and empathy bond) though and I stole the empathy bond successfully. Furthermore, my weapon slot is empty.

Yes, it is in PvP and no, there aren't any symbols on the Eagle's Eye (It is not protected). I asked my opponent why and he cannot explain either.
