I think it should deal 1 to all ground creatures and 2 to all airborne creatures. My logic is that airborne creatures would be a lot higher and closer to the lightning, and more likely to get hit. This might also give it some use in recluse/wings decks.
Well for two quanta, it can be spamed. So 3 damage to every creature for 6 quanta, seems fairly reasonable. but his idea would be interesting. Maybe also take away the airborne ability since lightning would fry the wings off of them.

But RoF is a single card, whereas with thunderstorm, you have to play 3 of them to get the same effect.

I vote for raise the damage to 2 and increase the cost to 5/4

So many good ideas for changes, lol. It might be worth it to have several different cards for AoE and disabling permanents or frying Airborne creatures.

I like the removing airborne passive idea. Was annoying that mono air had no way to take airborne off of creatures.

That would be overpowered. And I really don't like the sound of giving air such an ability unless it targeted only one creature and did no damage.

Actually, I like the idea of turning it into a pump spell.
Air kinda needs one atm, and that would work perfectly.

It's a cheap card, but in the end, it does almost nothing. I think people will pay more for it, if it does more. It's quite a strain on your deck to put 6 in it. We should be fair and remember a mark like earth or life has NO mass CC spell, and barely any CC in fact. If you play mono air you can certainly murder a whole field with it, if spammed. I'd like it, if the creatures hit by it were desorientated somewhat? Turn delay, or less damage? But then the price should go way up. Maybe 3  :air

If this was a mono earth spell I sure would spam it, though. It's better than 6 bas. blood, except against the strongest creatures. Add an eagles eye there, and you have wicked damage...
Shards aren't overpowered, as long as you have them yourself.
